Hi all,
I do a lot of underwater filming - fish, sharks, wrecks, that sort of thing - using GoPros. I need some advice.
The most time consuming job is colour correction. I can get quite good results in the end, but it takes me a long time. I seem to end up doing it differently every time.
Each shot has different light and colour. Depth is important, but also the distance between the camera and the subject. Any shot with medium and distant objects causes me the most problems.
I have filmed with various coloured filters, and even without a filter. Lights obviously helps a lot, but only for relatively close subjects.

I shoot using the ProRes, and have experimented with different settings. I seem to have settled on flat colour and neutral colour balance. This seems to give me the best starting point.

Does anyone have any tips for approaching colour correction of underwater footage in Reslove? Or general advice on using the GoPro in these conditions? Are there any LUTs I can buy that would help?
